Delete your EvidenceLens account
You can permanently delete your EvidenceLens account and all associated data at any time. No approval from our team is required. This page explains exactly what gets removed, how long it takes, and how to request deletion if you cannot sign in.
What will be deleted
When you confirm account deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our systems and cannot be recovered:
- Your user profile (name, email address, profile picture)
- All API tokens linked to your account
- All active devices registered to your account
- Your full usage history (verifications, summaries, chats, and analyzed video IDs)
- Any active subscription (it is automatically cancelled in Stripe and Google Play / App Store as part of the deletion flow)
Anonymised, aggregated service metrics (for example, total request counts per day) that no longer identify you may be retained. Financial records that we are legally required to keep (for example, tax invoices) are retained only for the period required by law.
How to delete your account (fastest way)
- Open evidence-lens.com/dashboard/settings and sign in with the Google account you use for EvidenceLens.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the page.
- Click Delete my account, then type
delete my accountto confirm. - Click Permanently delete account. Deletion is immediate — you will be signed out of all sessions on all devices.
Deleting from the mobile app
The EvidenceLens mobile app shares the same account as the website. To delete your account from a phone, open the app, tap your profile, choose Manage account, and follow the link to the settings page above. You can also open evidence-lens.com/dashboard/settings directly in your mobile browser.
If you cannot sign in
If you have lost access to your Google account or cannot sign in for any other reason, email support@evidence-lens.com from the address associated with your EvidenceLens account. Include the subject line Account deletion request. We will verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually within a few business days.
Cancelling a paid subscription only
If you only want to cancel a paid plan but keep your account, open your settings and use Manage subscription. Subscriptions purchased through Google Play or the App Store must be cancelled in the respective store.
