By using EvidenceLens (the "Service"), including the Chrome extension, website, and API, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
EvidenceLens is a browser extension and web platform that analyzes YouTube video transcripts to identify and verify factual claims against scientific literature. Results are provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered definitive scientific assessments.
3. Accounts and Authentication
You may use the extension without an account (Free tier). Creating an account via Google sign-in enables subscription management and activity tracking. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
4. Subscription and Billing
- The Free plan includes limited monthly usage at no cost.
- The Plus plan is billed at €12/month (or €59/year for Plus Annual) via Stripe.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
5. Usage Limits
Each plan has monthly usage limits. Exceeding these limits will result in temporary restriction of the affected feature until the start of the next calendar month. Abuse of the API or attempts to circumvent limits may result in account suspension.
6. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. EvidenceLens does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of claim verifications. AI-generated analysis may contain errors. Always consult primary sources for critical decisions.
7. Limitation of Liability
EvidenceLens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
